Faatima Ahmed-Blackmore
- Faatima is a proudly South African born medical doctor who plans to continue her academic journey soon by mastering in Sports & exercise Medicine in the UK.
- She currently resides in West London and has founded The Uuka network through a deep desire to connect women globally. She is extremely passionate about women rediscovering their inherent need to be part of a village rather than navigating life, motherhood & wellbeing in isolation. The concept arose from her personal desire to priortise her own wellness journey, the inspiration of continuously meeting women doing incredible work for and with other women as well as her frustration with the still gaping need for more oppressed & disadvantaged women to be supported, heard & seen globally.
- Faatima is an Afrikan Yoga teacher but also teaches various styles of traditonal Yoga. Her approach is to combine other forms of strength and conditioning training alongside the yoga to improve form and develop safe practices.
- Faatima is a seeker, a wife, a mother and an advocator for women health and empowerment.
